The mutual venture of Google and Lenovo, Project Tango is going to serve up its first flagship on 1st November. Called as Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, that is the greatest smartphone to be powered by the Tango Project of Google and Lenovo. The smartphone, which was launched at the beginning of this year, is now presented for pre-order in the US on the official website of Lenovo and from 1st November, Lenovo will begin shipping the phone across the US. Tango-equipped Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is valued at $200 (around Rs 13,376) in the US.
In the specification and design front, the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro will be tied with a 6.4-inch QHD display and will be powered by Snapdragon 652 processor under the hood. Along with an extensive 4GB of RAM, the phone will be equipped with expandable memory option up to 64GB via micro-SD card slot. On the software pose, Lenovo Phab 2 Pro will be pre-installed with Android 6.0 OS paired with the Lenovo’s own skin on top.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is the first smartphone to provide 3D imaging technology under Google’s Project Tango. As far as the cameras are involved, the upcoming handset will be packed with a 16MP primary camera and a 5MP wide-angle front camera, followed by LED flash. The power section of Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is reported to be backed by a 4,050mAh battery which is declared to deliver up to 14 days of standby time or up to 32 hours of talk time.
Among other crucial aspects, the audio segment of Lenovo Phab 2 Pro will be enhanced with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 technologies, which will enable it to deliver superior sound quality.
