The new Truecaller Update provide users to make calls to users of a third-party messaging app such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Skype, and Viber.
Android users. The company has integrated third-party apps to its service which basically means one could make internet calls over messaging apps without having to especially launch them. Users can now call contacts with third-party messaging apps utilizing their Truecaller profile.
Trucaller Update, an app that makes identifying unknown numbers easy, currently has over 130 million users in India. With the new feature for its Android app, the service has added another story to help make calling easier. The third-party apps currently supported by Truecaller for Android v7.61 are WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Skype, and Viber. In order to have the feature work, a user requires having the apps installed on their device. The feature is aimed at only easing up the process of calling a contact without especially opening the own messaging app.
The latest Truecaller Update v7.61 also gets new customization options and brings back the favorite contacts option. Users can instantly choose between ‘tap to call’ and ‘tap to profile’ view in the settings. With the reintroduction of the favorite option, users will be handy to see the most-called or favorite contacts at the starting of the contacts list. The app has been further updated for speed and memory changes.
Truecaller Update recently launched the ‘Truecaller Priority’ service to help last mile delivery in the e-commerce space. Launched in partnership with EKART, the number chain arm of Flipkart, the new feature will allow users know when their package is about to reach them. The service will help EKART complete larger deliveries through improved call completion and pick-up rate by boosting their efficiency.
